I have found a solution that I makes me so happy, I'm almost glad SunRocket closed up shop. In a nutshell, I've unlocked my SunRocket Gizmo (I have the Innomedia, but this should also work with the others), hooked it up to the Gizmo Project SIP server, and added the Gizmo Project number to my GrandCentral account.

I post the necessary steps below hoping others might find them useful. (Note: GrandCentral is currently an invitation only beta, but invites are available from various sources. A quick Google search should reveal at least a few. Ebay is another option.)

Step 1) Unlock your SunRocket Gizmo. The friendly folks at Nuvio have posted instructions here. For the Innomedia device, stop at Step 5 of their instructions.

Step 2) Reconfigure your SunRocket Gizmo. Pointing a device called a Gizmo at the servers of the Gizmo Project just feels so right, doesn't it?

Step 2a) Disable Provisioning. SunRocket isn't around any more, but we still don't want their server resetting our changes. Go to IP Network->Provisioning Setting. Uncheck the Enable Provisioning check box. Click Save & Reboot. Wait for the device to come back.

Step 2b) Change your SIP Proxy. Go to VoIP->SIP Proxy. Use the following settings:

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_cTgMyFrhGvQ/RqBW-SuDqxI/AAAAAAAABjA/0YV_xytZn78/s320/SIP+Proxy+Settings.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5089163207105555218" />
(Note: The value for SIP Domain which is cut off in the image is proxy01.sipphone.com.) Click Save.

Step 2c) Change your User Account. Go to VoIP->User Account. Use the following settings using your own Gizmo Project phone number with the leading 1 as the User ID, User Name, and Authentication ID and your Gizmo Project password as the User Password and Confirm Password:

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_cTgMyFrhGvQ/RqBX0CuDqyI/AAAAAAAABjI/F_dlI7tsXuw/s320/User+Account+Settings.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5089164130523523874" />
Step 2d) Forward ports if necessary. Depending on your particular network configuration, you may need to forward ports. If your SunRocket Gizmo is connected directly to your modem or if it is in a DMZ behind whatever is connected to your modem, you can skip this step. Otherwise, do what ever magic is necessary on your network to forward UDP ports 5004, 5005, and 64064 to your SunRocket Gizmo.

Step 2e) Reboot your Gizmo. Go to Management->Reboot on the control panel or simply unplug and reconnect the power cable.

Step 2f) Make sure everything is working so far. Once the Gizmo comes back, go to Information->Register Status & Critical Messages. Line one should have a green box with the word Registered below it. If not, make sure you followed the steps above correctly. If the line is registered, you may now attempt an outgoing phone call to a land line (if you have sufficient Call Out credits with the Gizmo Project) or to any Gizmo Project number.

Step 3) Add your Gizmo Project number to GrandCentral. The smart engineers at GrandCentral have made this step so easy, it requires no directions. Gizmo is one of the phone types you can add to your account just like Cell, Home, and Work. If you already pay for a Gizmo Project Call In number this step is not strictly necessary, but GrandCentral does provide some additional cool features.

That's it. Hope it helps some one. Enjoy!
